- Dry the wet area with a dehumidifier
- Minor bubbles can be burst to remove them. Firstly, place a damp cloth over the bubble. Use a knife to cut a slit in the area. Next, apply wood glue to the slit and press the veneer down using a weight. You'll need to apply the weight overnight
- In some cases where the damage is too large you will need to replace the plank.

Small scratches, cracks, and chipping can be fixed with a suitable colour-matching repair kit. You can find them in a variety of colours to match your laminate colour. They are simple and inexpensive to use. And can completely transform old chipped laminate.

- Firstly, cut a hole in the middle of the plank. You can drill a hole in the middle of it makes it easier
- Then cut from the centre to the edges to remove all the laminate plank
- Make sure you cut the tongue off the replacement plank and apply adhesive underneath the top surface
- Put the replacement plank in place and gently use a hammer and tapping block to ensure it is fitted securely
- Wipe away any excess adhesive and clean around the area
- Put a weight on the replacement plank for a few hours and then the process is finished
