Dark Grey and black floors are often selected to intensify a homes interior. The strength in base colour provides a commanding platform for surrounding furniture and accessories. Polyflor Colonia Welsh Raven Slate 4535 Vinyl Flooring demonstrates a convincing authenticity which is sympathetic to its core design. The tile features subtle supporting tones with a riven slate surface texture in a brick format. The strip displayed between tiles in the first kitchen image is Grey Grouting Strip 2035. The second, bathroom image features Ice Grouting Strip 2031.

Questions & Answers

Can I use a steam cleaner for mopping this floor?

Asked by Kay Peacock from Walsall on 05 Jun 2015

1 Answer

Good Morning Kay Unfortunately the manufacturers do not recommend this type of product for cleaning the flooring, as it is for all LVT products. Here are the full maintenance instructions for you:$file/Camaro%20Floorcare%20AMP%20Jan%202012.pdf

Hi, i would like to use this in our bathroom for the floor. Can you tell me whether it is suitable and whether the builder would need do anything significantly different in terms of prepping the floor than he would for laying normal tiles? Thanks

Asked by rosie on 28 Sep 2014

1 Answer

Vinyl flooring is ideal for bathrooms and with regards to installation of them we would recommend that you read the following;

I am looking to buy this for my new build. Can you lay this flooring onto new dried screed or do you need sub floor prep as well as the adhesive or is the adhesive fine used on its own on top of the new screed?

Asked by James from Suffolk on 09 Jan 2014

1 Answer

You need a flat dry and even sub floor before installing. With Vinyl it is prudent to put a self leveller down as with a concrete floor you can get imperfections that would after a while show through a vinyl tile / plank. So ideally you would apply a self leveller before laying the vinyl floor.

Could you please advise how you would clean this flooring ? Is it hard wearing ? Thank you

Asked by Sasha from Bathroom on 22 Dec 2013

1 Answer

Yes this product is very hard wearing. Difficult to say exactly of course but I do believe if it's looked after this flooring would last many 10's of years. Here's the official maintenance guide:$file/Colonia%20floorcare.pdf
