Wood Herringbone Flooring
Herringbone wood flooring is a type of parquet flooring that can be used to make a statement. This popular floor pattern is made by planks that are cut and laid at an angle to make a zig zag shaped pattern. You can use this in most rooms in your home such as living rooms, hallways or dining rooms to bring character into the room. Although it may seem that Herringbone is a 'busy' pattern, it is the perfect design for those small, narrow spaces. Because the eye is drawn to the wide part of the herringbone, the patterns conjure an optical illusion that enhances the space and makes the room look visually larger.

Our wood herringbone flooring is suitable for most rooms, working great in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, conservatories and even basements. If you're prone to cold feet, don't worry, as our engineered wood herringbone is suitable to use with underfloor heating.
Herringbone engineered wood flooring isn't resistant to water or moisture, so while you can have it in kitchens if you are careful to prevent exposure to excessive moisture, we don't recommend it. Our wood herringbone flooring is also not suitable for bathrooms. If you want to have the look of herringbone in these rooms, we have herringbone luxury vinyl or herringbone laminate floors which are waterproof.
Care and Maintenance Advice
All of our wood floors are built to last, but they still need to be looked after. To take care of your Herringbone parquet flooring, regularly sweep or vacuum your floor. Do not steam, use a wet mop, or use any abrasive materials such as scouring pads, as this may damage the floor. For more detailed care advice read our Parquet Floor Maintenance Guide.
