Herringbone Laminate Flooring

Herringbone laminate flooring allows you to achieve the distinct look of the herringbone pattern at a fraction of the price of real wood. This classic flooring style makes a statement in any room, and with all the benefits of laminate flooring, it is a popular choice. Browse our range below to find the perfect herringbone laminate floor for your home.

Why Choose Herringbone Laminate Flooring?

Herringbone is a type of parquet flooring, where the pattern created gives a staggered look. Laminate herringbone flooring has planks cut into rectangles and fitted at a 90-degree angle, which creates a broken triangular effect. This creates an eye-catching look that can make small rooms look bigger but also makes a beautiful feature in larger rooms. The herringbone pattern is a beautiful effect that creates a timeless look in any room.

Traditionally, herringbone flooring is made from solid wood. However, choosing this pattern in laminate has a range of benefits:

  • Durability: Laminate flooring is durable and scratch resistant, making it an ideal choice for busy rooms and homes with pets or children.
  • Easy to Maintain: A big benefit of laminate flooring is that it is easy to maintain. Simply wipe up any spills and regularly sweep or vacuum to keep this herringbone floor looking good. Find out more in our guide to laminate flooring care.
  • Water Resistant: Compared to real wood, laminate flooring is resistant to water (though not fully waterproof). This means that so long as you clean up any spills and splashes quickly, these won't damage your floor.
  • Affordable: Laminate flooring is much more affordable than real wood. Choosing herringbone laminate means you get this eye-catching pattern at a much lower price point than the traditional material.

What Rooms is Herringbone Laminate Flooring Suitable For?

Laminate flooring in a herringbone pattern is suitable for many rooms. Being hard-wearing and durable, this flooring can withstand rooms with heavy traffic, such as hallways and living rooms.

As herringbone laminate flooring is water resistant, it is also suitable for kitchens, so long as spills are cleaned up quickly. However, not all laminate flooring is waterproof, so if you want laminate in the bathroom, stick to our waterproof laminate flooring range. We also stock herringbone LVT, which is suitable for bathrooms.

For more information, check out our laminate room suitability guide.
