Natura foam is ideal for use with laminate or wood flooring. If you require a damp proof membrane, then we recommend our Natura Bronze,Silver or Gold Acoustic.

This product is 3mm thick foam and comes with a built in DPM (damp proof membrane) layer which is vital for any installation over concrete. We recommend our Natura Silver or Gold acoustic underlay if noise is an issue.

Fitting

Flooringsupplies.co.uk act as an agent for independent self employed floor covering installers and can arrange for your order to be fitted where applicable. The fitting work will be carried out under a separate contract between you and the fitter(s) and the fitter(s) will take full responsibility for the quality of their work and service. However, all our registered fitters have to act in a professional and respectful manner at all times and we demand all services to be of the highest standards.

We want to make sure your installation goes as smoothly as possible, and to facilitate this, please ensure that all rooms are cleared of furniture and old floor coverings, that the sub floor has been fully prepared, and the removal of any wires and cables etc. Please remember, the fitter cannot be responsible for disposal of the old flooring. If the installation cannot proceed on the day scheduled through no fault of ours or the fitters’, then you may be responsible for any losses incurred by the fitter.

Every reasonable precaution will be taken to protect property in which the fitter will be working. The fitter will endeavor to leave the property clean and tidy and all reasonable care will be taken to prevent damage to internal fittings and decorations, please make sure the location is suitable prior to the installation being carried out.

Once we have processed your order, we will contact you and your appointed fitter to arrange a mutually convenient date for the installation of your new flooring.

Due to the nature of these services exact arrival and completion times cannot be guaranteed. You agree to pay the fitter the price as mutually agreed and payment is due immediately after completion of the installation. The price quoted is on the agreement that the fitter finds no faults or hindrances before any services takes place.

Unfortunately not all areas of the UK are covered by this service and you will be advised within a reasonable time if we cannot find a fitter for you. Flooringsupplies.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses due to cancellation of agreed dates by the fitter.

Difficult to fault, all worked as expected. The only improvement would be to provide the underlay in a matching square meterage to the flooring you buy as can be costly and wastefull having to buy in set length rolls.

The product was of good quality. The joints between sections were quite tight meaning a certain amount of persuasion was needed in the laying process - but I guess I would be complaining if the joints had been slack. The floor looks really good. The order process went well - it was delivered as promised and the delivery driver rang ahead and gave me an accurate delivery time within the pre-arranged slot.

I am an amateur DIYer and decided to fit Natura Engineered floor with the help of friend. The most problematic part was the joining the header joint since the length of the plank means there is great deal of friction along the main joint. Plus the flooring was fitted to a 'through lounge' and there was a small variation in floor height between the original two rooms this was packed out with some extra underlay. After a couple of rows we found it was best to join the headers before laying the floor completely flat and made the task easier. I purchase Natura Kerry which seems to be a thicker version of Brooklyn, I think it was worth paying the extra as the floor has a more solid feel and the veneer is thicker. I still have a couple of rows to lay plus the trim but it looks very good so far. Delivery was prompt. Although the original order forgot the underaly this was quickly resolved and I would use the company again.

Our fitter was happy with the quality and laid the floor quickly and easily. It looks very nice indeed and fits the rest of the furnishings and fittings very well. I could do with some advice about how to treat a scratch caused when we replaced a dresser. Also, the recommended product if we were to add another layer of lacquer to make it slightly stronger?
