"Flooringsupplies.co.uk" will be referred to as "fs.co.uk" throughout the below terms & conditions.

Payment information
Payment can be made in a number of ways, credit or debit card, this can be debited immediately and enable us to arrange delivery within a couple of days providing stock is available. You may also pay by cheque or by bank transfer. Goods cannot be dispatched, or processed without full payment.

Fs.co.uk are not liable for any charges made by banks for these services, likewise Fs.co.uk does not charge a percentage fee for credit or debit cards except American Express, a 1.5% charge is applicable with this payment, this is explained prior to placing your order.

Delivery information
Fs.co.uk offer a free premier delivery service on orders over £350 + VAT to mainland UK addresses, this premier delivery service is available on all stocked orders however, a surcharge may apply to some Scotland addresses, solid wood flooring and some goods outsourced with the manufacturers.

All orders under nett £350 will incur a subsidised delivery charge of £29.95 + VAT, exceptions may apply. Next day deliveries must be placed and funds cleared by 10am.

Deliveries are made to the 'kerb side'. Unfortunately due to insurance guidelines it is not the couriers responsibility to take goods into your home, therefore please arrange for adequate help at time of delivery. Natural carpets require at least 2 people at the property to assist with unloading. Flooring deliveries could be made on a lorry or a van. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road or area is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction, please inform us at the time of order. Deliveries are made from 8.00 am to around 6.00pm.

Requests for an E.T.A on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier’s discretion. Fs.co.uk cannot be held responsible for delivery times. If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date for whatever reason, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. ALL deliveries must be signed for.

Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery, this means opening tubes to check trims, glancing over (but not opening) packs of flooring for visible damage. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or missing item, make sure it’s noted on the courier’s paperwork. No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged or missing. All claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have been received.

Returns and Cancellation
Any requests to cancel/return an order must be made in writing by a durable medium, within 7 days of receipt of goods.

You will need to return the goods back to us via your chosen courier. Fs.co.uk do not accept part order returns. All credits will be processed within 30 days.

All returns and cancellations must conform to the guidelines laid out in the “Distance Selling Regulation” a guide of which can be found at www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf

Manufacturing Fault claims
Check that the boards are flawless before laying them. Fs.co.uk will not accept any claims for damaged, faulty or mis-described items once the flooring has been installed. Where the buyer has used or installed the goods such use or installation shall be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition. You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put.

Fs.co.uk uses an independent arbitrator to adjudicate all claims for manufacturer faults after installation. If you wish to proceed with an inspection F.S.co.uk reserves the right to charge, the cost for inspection is £80.00 + VAT. If the inspection shows that the complaint is caused by a manufacturing fault said charge would be refunded.

Other Information
Although Fs.co.uk endeavour to display correct pricing and description at all times, Fs.co.uk reserve the right to refuse the sale of mis-priced products. Before purchasing from us, we recommend viewing the product in person, either in a local shop or via a sample, as Fs.co.uk cannot guarantee the colour/pattern matching from monitor to monitor. Please note that due to the increasing amount of viruses that are unknowingly sent by computers, your email may not be received through our secure email gateway

Opening times are 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, and 9.30 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday.
