Iroko's yellowish colour and exciting variation in hues create a unique atmosphere in any room. Iroko grows in the Congo Basin and on the West Coast of Africa, it is a tropical hardwood with grain structure alternating between straight and undulating.

Where does Iroko grow?

Iroko grows in Namibia, Angola, Zaire, Cote D'Ivoire and Nigeria where it is found in the vast tropical rainforests that are famed across the world.

Colour Change:

Over the years, Iroko will undergo pronounced darkening from golden and light browns to medium brown colors. The colour on the left is the initial colour and the colour on the right is the colour after it has matured.
