Doussie is a tropical hardwood that resists moisture fluctuations superbly. Doussie's colour is an exotic golden yellow and its fascinating grain structure is often intertwined.

Where does Doussie grow?

Doussie grows in eastern Africa, it is mainly found in the lush, dense rainforests of the Congo Basin but is also found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Benin, Togo and Gabon.

Colour Change:

Doussie changes substantially from orangey browns to deeper mahagony hues over time; color variation becomes more pronounced as floor ages it may have or develop white mineral deposit spots. The colour on the left is the initial colour and the colour on the right is the colour after it a few months.
