A wood renowned for its toughness and resilience. Ash varies greatly in colour from a blond/cream colour to a darker tan and brown, found closer to the heart of the tree.

Where does Ash grow? Ash grows in parts of Europe including Sweden, Scandanavia and many of the North-Eastern European states.

Colour Change: Ash undergoes a medium degree of change over time, from a lighter freshly sanded tone to a straw/tan colour as it ages. The colour on the left is the initial colour and the colour on the right is the colour after it a few months.
