How well your floor will cope with scratches

Vinyl and Laminate flooring are very resistant to scratches thanks to their hard outer layer. Solid and Engineered flooring are slightly easier to scratch and dent, but, if you need to, you can sand them down and refinish them - this will leave them good as new.
