delivery process explained

At Flooring Supplies we offer our customers three delivery options: Standard, Express and Premier.

Standard Delivery

Our Standard delivery service provides delivery within 3 to 5 working days where items are held in stock. Standard delivery is provided free of charge on all orders over £350.00 (ex VAT) and charged at £29.95 plus VAT for orders under £350.00 (ex VAT), restrictions may apply.

Deliveries are made on your requested day approximately between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Unfortunately requests for an E.T.A (Estimated Time of Delivery) are at the courier’s discretion. Where possible we will advise you at the time of order of approximate delivery lead-times. If there is a likelihood of a delay or we cannot fulfil your requested delivery date we will call you to discuss alternative options, exceptions may apply.

Standard delivery is made to the 'kerb side' due to insurance guidelines so please arrange for adequate help to carry goods into your property.

Express Delivery

Our Express delivery service provides next working day delivery where items are held in stock and orders are placed before 11am. Express delivery is charged at £15.00 plus VAT on all orders over £350.00 (ex VAT) or £44.95 plus VAT for orders under £350.00 (ex VAT).

Deliveries are made on your requested day approximately between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Unfortunately requests for an E.T.A (Estimated Time of Delivery) are at the courier’s discretion. Where possible we will advise you at the time of order of approximate delivery lead-times. If there is a likelihood of a delay or we cannot fulfil your requested delivery date we will call you to discuss alternative options.

Express delivery is made to the 'kerb side' due to insurance guidelines so please arrange for adequate help to carry goods into your property.

Premium Delivery

Our Premium delivery service is a very personable delivery service offering you the next level of flexibility. Premium delivery is charged at £35.00 plus VAT on all orders over £350.00 (ex VAT) or £64.95 for orders under £350.00 (ex VAT).

  • Our delivery partner will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and arrange a convenient time
  • You will be issued with a unique tracking reference
  • You will be given direct contact details for the courier
  • The driver will assist you with any specific requests that you have relating to the delivery

Please be aware that this timed delivery, although accurate, can be subject to traffic hold ups and we would therefore ask you to allow plus or minus one hour from the agreed delivery time. This service is available on most product lines but restrictions may apply and there is a weight limit of 550kg per order.


Delivery Considerations

All delivery services could be made on a lorry or a van so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction, it is within a “Red route” or there are time zone restrictions for example, please inform us at the time of order to discuss alternative delivery options. If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for redelivery. Deliveries are charged at £65.00 minimum or £0.65 per kg, whichever the greater.

At Flooring Supplies we have teamed up with reliable delivery partners to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. Therefore it is important to check the packaging for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival. If you are unfortunate enough to receive damaged goods or there are missing items, please make sure it is noted on the courier’s paperwork. We also strongly suggest that you contact us directly as soon as possible to make sure we are aware of the problem.

We cannot be responsible for any consequential losses, therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have been received and checked.

Where goods are refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to pass on any carriage charges that we incur in returning the goods to us.

If we are delivering to an alternative address to the billing address (the address to where the payment card is registered) we do require proof of ID before the contract is agreed. Acceptable documents to prove your ID may include a utility bill, council tax statement or a bank statement containing your address. This list is not exhaustive but all documents do need to be reasonably current.
